VOLUNTEER SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES:


SALVATION ARMY’S HOPE HARBOR DINNER SERVER NEEDED – 2nd Sunday of each month 4:15-5:30pm

Prayerfully consider this community service opportunity. It's serving a meal only once per month at Salvation Army's Hope Harbor on Sacramento Street. If you are interested or have questions, please get in touch with Jenn Pinnell by clicking HERE.
MAKE AN ETERNAL DIFFERENCE IN THE LIFE OF A CHILD

  • MOMCo (formerly MOPS) program is in need of childcare volunteers . The group meets from 9-11am every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month September through May.
  • FAITH KIDS' MINISTRY is also in need of volunteers on Sunday mornings beginning in August. 

With the new school year right around the corner, please prayerfully consider how you can make an eternal difference in the life of a child by volunteering for one of these vital ministries.  If you have questions or would like more information, please call the church office at 209-333-7089.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Our Wednesday night dinner program kicks back up on August 7. We are in need of teams to help serve each week. This is a great opportunity for your small group, family or friends to get together and volunteer side by side. JAM 456 SWIM PARTY – THIS Friday, July 26, 6-8pm, Meehan Residence, 11501 E. Peltier Road, Acampo

Calling all our JAM 456 Faith kids! Please join us for a swim party. Bring your swimsuit, towel, and sunblock, and join your friends in a great night of games, food, laughter, and fellowship. There will be a lifeguard on duty but please bring a life jacket or floats if needed. The cost is $8, and to help us better prepare we ask that you please sign up in advance by clicking on the link below.
FINAL YOUTH “SUMMER STORM”–  Wednesday, July 31

Students 7th-12th grade, you have one more opportunity to enjoy our LAST “Summer Storm” event before school starts
  • July 31 – BBQ Dinner at Pastor Jerry’s house, 4-8:30pm, Wilton, The cost $10. We will meet at the church at 4pm, and return at 8:30pm. Bring your swimsuit, towel, sandals and a change of clothes. To register click on the link below.

Moms, looking for fun summer activities with your littles, check out all the activities that MOMCo (formerly MOPS) has lined up. There is no need to register, simply show up unless otherwise noted:

NEW 2024/2025 SCHOOL YEAR HEALTH & CONSENT FORMS DUE

Parents, NEW Health & Consent forms are needed for EVERY CHILD/YOUTH who participates in our Wednesday evening programs or Sunday morning programs, for the upcoming 2024/25 school year. You may find the online form available by clicking on the QR Code above, or grab a paper copy in your child's class. It will be beneficial if you can have the form(s) completed in advance for each of your children before the August 7 kick-off of our W.O.W. Kids and Youth programs. Thank you!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT PROGRAMMING RESUMES – Wednesday, August 7, 6pm

We kick off our Wednesday night programming with the startup of the new school year. Wednesday night dinners are at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall, W.O.W. Kids at 6:30pm, and Route 66 at 7pm in the Worship Center. We hope to see you on August 7 for a great evening of food, fellowship, and Bible study.

FAITH KIDS’ PARENTS & KIDS ICE CREAM SOCIAL – Friday, August 9, 6-7pm, Courtyard Patio

Parents of our Faith Kids, please join us for fellowship and ice cream as we kick off the new school year! Visit your child’s classroom and learn about the upcoming curriculum and fun stuff we have planned for the year. We would like to take this time to build relationships with our families and our Children’s Ministry leaders. There is no cost, but we do ask you to RSVP by clicking on the link below so we can plan accordingly. Hope to see you there!
GRIEF SHARE CLASS – Wednesday, August 14, 6:30-8pm, Portable #4

Grief and loss is a normal part of life. Join us as we learn how to navigate through it in ways that are healthy and helpful. If you, a family member or a friend has experienced loss, we hope you will join us for Grief Share. There is a $25 workbook fee. You may register and pay by clicking on the link below.
MEN’S RETREAT – Friday-Sunday, August 16-18, Mt. Hope Campground, Forbestown

Registration is now open for this year's men's retreat. Our theme is "Encourage" and our hope is that you will be encouraged in your relationship with Jesus and with other guys that attend! There will be great fun, great food, great worship, and even opportunities to participate in some activities that you love to experience: Fishing, Off-roading, Golfing, Shooting, Motorcycle Ride & Swimming! Additionally, there will be many ways to have fun and relax right on the campgrounds.

“SHE MATTERS” CONFERENCE – Friday & Saturday, August 23 & 24, Hope Point Nazarene Church, Yuba City

“She Matters” exists to help women refuse the labels of the world and embrace their purpose in Christ. As  women, we are better when we share our stories, when we encourage each other, and when we empower each other.
  • LADIES, early registration is $35 by July 31, and $50 after.

  • STUDENTS planning to attend with THRIVE YOUTH please see Kelly Wiley for pricing and to sign up. Thrive Youth gals will depart from the church on Friday at 3:00 pm to ride together to Hope Point Nazarene Church in Yuba City for the first night of the Conference. Dinner is provided. We will stay at the church overnight, so bring a sleeping bag, blanket, pillow, blow-up mattress or cot. Please bring whatever you will need to be comfortable. Saturday, day two, breakfast and lunch are provided.

THIRD DAY’S MAC POWELL IN CONCERT – Sunday, September 1, 6:30pm, Worship Center

We are so excited to announce that Third Day’s legendary Singer, Mac Powell, is coming to Faith Community Church on September 1st.  Doors open at 6:30pm with the concert beginning at 7pm.
