NAZARENE COMPASSION MINISTRIES – 2024 Storm Relief Fund
So many people have been affected by the recent hurricanes in the southeastern part of the United States. You can help those in need by donating to the Nazarene Compassion Ministries Fund, which will be used for immediate needs like water and food, as well as long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts. You may donate online at by clicking on the link below, or you may mail a check payable to the “General Treasurer” to the following address:

FAITH’S ANNUAL FALL FEST – Friday, October 25, 5:30-8pm, Outdoor Patio

Fall Fest is just around the corner. You won’t want to miss out on this fun event! Bring your entire family, friends, and neighbors as we celebrate the change of the seasons to cooler weather, harvest, and falling leaves. We'll have trunk-or-treats, a maze, big games, hayrides, crafts, and much more. The event is FREE, and food trucks will be available for food purchases. Hope to see you there.

WALK THRU THE BIBLE OLD TESTAMENT LIVE EVENT – Saturday, November 9, 9am-12pm, Worship Center

Experience the story of the Old Testament through a fun, compelling, and engaging process that will change the way you read the Bible. You will learn the major events and people of the Old Testament and understand its storyline, maybe for the first time. Join us for this highly engaging, dynamic, and memorable 3-hour event that helps you understand God's Word and make the connection between His story and yours. Registration (which includes the helpful workbook) is just $20 through November 6th, or $30 at the door on the day of the event. Register and pay by clicking on the link below.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD & CHURCH CHERUBS – Beginning this Sunday, October 6 through November 17

  • Church Cherubs - It is our desire to help our attending church families with children who may need a little assistance by providing gifts for them at Christmas. If you, or another Faith Community family that you are aware of, are in need, please click on the link below, and complete the form. Gift cards will be provided to the families that qualify, blessing them this Holiday season.
  • Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child – Boxes will be available next Sunday for you to pick up, fill, and return by November 17. Bless a child this Christmas season through giving to Operation Christmas Child.
FAITH RIDERS OLD TOWN SACRAMENTO RIDE – THIS Saturday, October 19, 9:45am, Front Parking Lot

Calling all bikers, gear up for cooler weather and a beautiful fall ride. We’ll be headed to Old Town Sacramento for lunch. If you like, join us prior to the ride at Richmaid Restaurant on Cherokee Lane for breakfast at 8:30am. We will then head over to the church to meet up with others by 9:45am. We’ll have a short time of prayer and KSU promptly at 10am. Hope you can make it. No need to sign up, just show up!
WOMEN’S GET TOGETHER – THIS Saturday, October 19, 11am-12:30pm, Lodi Bowling Alley

To bowl or not to bowl. . .it doesn’t matter. Bring a girlfriend and join a group of us from Faith Community for a lot of fun, chats, games, and food at the new Lodi Bowling Alley. Continue the fun by heading to a local lunch spot with a group of gals afterwards. So we can reserve the right amount of lanes, we ask that you please register in advance and let us know how many are coming. Click on the link below and complete the form. Bring $30 cash.

A great way for moms to connect and socialize while the kids enjoy playing together. There is no need to register, just show up.

  • Wednesday, October 30, 10am-12pm, Katzakian Park, Halloween party play date, wear your costume and bring a bag of candy for the pinata
WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNER, October 23, 6pm, Fellowship Hall

This week’s dinner menu is ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­baked potato bar with all the fixings. The price is $5 per person with a $25 immediate family maximum. Hope to see you this week. Come for dinner and stay for our Wednesday night programs.

Don’t forget to turn back your clocks one hour before bed on Saturday night. Enjoy that extra hour of sleep before church on Sunday.

Christmas is right around the corner and we're getting prepared. If you would like to participate in the Christmas Choir, please contact Wendy or just show up for the Wednesday rehearsals. We would love to have you sing with us!
PRAYER ROOM NOW OPEN – Sundays, 8:30-10:45am and 12:15-1pm, Room 101

Prayer is powerful! We would love to join you in praying for whatever you are going through. Join us on Sundays' as we lay it at the feet of Jesus and see healing, restoration and more! Sign up for a time slot in Room 101, and someone will be there to pray with you.

MAKE AN ETERNAL DIFFERENCE IN THE LIFE OF A CHILD BY VOLUNTEERING

  • MOMCo (formerly MOPS) program is in need of childcare volunteers . The group meets from 9-11am every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month September through May.
  • FAITH KIDS' MINISTRY is also in need of volunteers during the Sunday morning services.
Please prayerfully consider how you can make an eternal difference in the life of a child by volunteering for one of these vital ministries. If you have questions or would like more information, please call the church office at 209-333-7089.
