CHURCH CHERUB DONATIONS BEGIN - Sunday, September 7

Christmas is just around the corner! Beginning next Sunday, we will start collecting donations for our Church Cherubs Gift Card Program. Throughout the month of September, we invite you to partner with us by donating money, which will be used to purchase gift cards for Faith families who could use a little extra support in purchasing holiday gifts and meals. We encourage you to prayerfully consider blessing families in need through your generosity. Donations can be made easily by texting “Church Cherubs” to 209-691-9716, or by giving via check clearly marked for this campaign. Together, let’s share the joy of Christ’s love this Christmas season!

Thrive Youth is having a Rummage Sale and you can help us out by cleaning out those closets and garages—your donations will make a big difference!

MEN’S RETREAT - September 5-7, Mt. Hope Bible Camp, Forbestown

Men, registration closes this Sunday at 12 noon for our upcoming “RESILIENT” Men’s Retreat, happening Friday to Sunday, September 5-7. We hope you are planning and preparing for an inspiring weekend together! FAITH KIDS’ CPR & FIRST AID CERTIFICATION CLASS - Saturday, August 30, 1-4pm, Fellowship Hall

We’re excited to invite ALL  of our Faith Kids’ Ministry volunteers—including those from American Heritage Girls, MOMCō, and WOW Kids—to an in-person, certified CPR and first aid training class! This valuable session is just $60 and will equip you with essential skills to help keep our Faith Kids safe and thriving. MEN’S MOVIE NIGHT - Saturday, August 30, 6-8pm, Worship Center

Men, join us for the movie, The Insanity of God, based on the best-selling book by Nik Ripken, it is the personal and lifelong journey of an ordinary couple from rural Kentucky who thought they were going on an ordinary missionary pilgrimage, but discovered it would be anything but. As one movie goer described it: "An eye opening & life changing account of Christian love." Snacks will be available for purchase. All proceeds to benefit our Youth attendance at 2026 Nazarene Youth Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah.

LABOR DAY OFFICE CLOSURE - Monday, September 1

In observance of Labor Day, the church office will be closed on Monday. We will resume our normal working hours of Monday-Thursday, 9am-4pm on Tuesday. Have a safe and enjoyable holiday.

WHEN SUFFERING ENTERS YOUR DOOR - Wednesday, September 3, 6:30-7:30pm, Portable #3

Suffering is the universal experience. Yet, many Christians don't know how to experience it when it comes into their lives. Join us for this 4-week video series, and you’ll learn what to do when suffering enters your door.
There is no charge for the class, but we kindly ask that you let us know that you would like to attend by clicking on the link below to register.

MOMCo NEW YEAR BEGINS - Thursday, September 4, 9-11am, Fellowship Hall

Calling Moms of kids of all ages, plan to attend our first 2025/26 year meeting. We meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 9-11am in the Fellowship Hall. Here, you will find comradery with other Moms. You will laugh together, work on crafts, play games, enjoy deep talks, and encourage one another. Childcare is provided. There is a MOMCo International registration fee of $37, which you may pay directly  through their website below. In addition, this year’s Faith registration fee is $60, and you can print your registration form and pay by clicking on the link below. Hope to see you there!

JAM56 JUMP INTO THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR - Friday, September 5, 5:30-8:30pm, SkyZone, Elk Grove

Calling all 5th and 6th graders to join us for a fun night of jumping, bouncing, laughing and pizza at SkyZone.
We will carpool to Elk Grove, so please be at the church no later than 5:30pm, where we will depart for the 90 minute drive to SkyZone in Elk Grove. Be prepared for some elevated fun! We’ll return to the church at 8:30pm for pick-up. The cost for is $30 per student, which includes socks and pizza. Please register in advance by clicking on the link below.

FAITH KIDS FALL BREAK CAMP
WEEK #1 - Monday-Friday,
Sept. 29-Oct. 3, 8:30am-4:30pm

Faith Kids (K-6th Grade) Fall Break Camp Week #1’s theme is “i wonder”. Fill your child’s days with fun activities, crafts, Bible time, and fellowship. Some of the fun activities we have planned are:
  • Bounce House
  • Mini Golf
  • Nerf Wars
  • Nature Scavenger Hunt
  • Science Experiments
  • Off-site field trips are also possible to Lodi Lake, Mickie Grove, the WOW museum, or the movies.
Both the Camp Registration form and the 2025-2026 Kids Health & Consent Form must be completed and turned in with payment in full in order for your child to attend camp. The cost for the week-long camp is $130, which includes lunch and an afternoon snack. In addition, you can purchase a Camp T-shirt for $15. We ask that you please send additional snacks and a water bottle each day. Closed toe shoes are preferred. You may register online and complete the Health Form, if you haven't already done so, by clicking on the links below.

PRAYER ROOM OPEN

Prayer is powerful! We would love to join you in praying for whatever you are going through. Join us on Sundays' as we lay it at the feet of Jesus and see healing, restoration and more! Sign up for a time slot in Room 101, and someone will be there to pray with you.

MAKE AN ETERNAL DIFFERENCE IN THE LIFE OF A CHILD BY VOLUNTEERING

  • MOMCo (formerly MOPS) program is in need of childcare volunteers . The group meets from 9-11am every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month September through May.
  • FAITH KIDS' MINISTRY is also in need of volunteers during the Sunday morning services.
